The Royal Wedding: Unveiled
Papa John's bakes up royal wedding pizzas

Papa John's bakes up royal wedding pizzas

Weeks after Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' Donuts each unveiled limited-edition royal wedding treats, pizza maker Papa John's announced its newest creation: the Royal Wedding Pizza.

The pie features a mosaic of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s faces, made out of standard pizza toppings. According to Papa John's website, a food artist in the U.K. used mushrooms for the bride’s veil, cheese for her dress and salami and peppers for William’s suit. How romantic!

Before you ask: Only consumers in the U.K. have the opportunity to purchase the Royal Wedding Pizza. Papa John's suggests that eligible consumers e-mail weddingpizza@papajohns.co.uk for a chance to chow down on the royal creation.

I'm so disgusted with all about those two people they are the dumbest people in the world. I could care less about them. All they have on tv is them two. They are no different then any of us. Her parent ain't no different then my parents are. All they want is publicity in all of it. This is america not Britain. Why do we have to listen to all of there bs about there crap. We have enough over here to listen, too.

And may I ask what makes them so dumb? Here you are, unable to even write a correct sentence.

Dan....could not have said it better my self....Lesley could use a bit of exposure to culture...and those readers not interested in Will and Kate news and/or articles: change channels or choose not to click on the article....why try to take the joy from those looking for a little positive in the world.

"I could care less about them", which is why I decided to click the link to this article and read it...
"This is America not Britain", but the American obsession with the monarchy of an island across the Atlantic is unrivaled...

Lesley is most certainly a Brit trying to write like a dumb American. Anyone who can't see this, I'm sorry... We really aren't that bad, I promise.

Dumber? I beg your pardon? They're both well educated and have actual college degrees, not a certificate from 'Hamburger U'. But you can't write a single paragraph without multiple spelling and grammatical errors.

      Dumber, indeed.

At least we're hearing about something positive for once. We're all very aware that there is more going on than the Royal Wedding... But if you hate it so much, turn the channel or don't click on a Royal Wedding news article. Some people are excited about this, so let them have thier moment! XD

Why is it that some people need others sadness or misery to be happy themselves, its like if I can make you hate the world I can feel good about myself. LIVE AND LET LIVE PEOPLE!!

It's because they're completely dissatisfied with their own life and just poisonous with envy... It's actually sad if you think about it... Oh well, some people will always be haters no matter what. By their own choices their lives suck, and they really can't stand anyone who is smarter, richer, better looking, cooler, etc, etc, etc...

Seriously though...who cares. okay theres going to be a royal wedding..like get over it already....if it had any effect on america then yeah it be a big deal to me. but it doesnt. is it going to help our economy..is it going to do any good to us? nope...so who gives.

    April 20, 2011 at 1:48 am | Report abuse | Reply
    • MJ Shaw

It's not a matter of "who gives," or if it's going to "help" our economy or anything of the sort. Like it or not, jealous, hater, or MTV desensitized, this is a historic event. Four hundred years from now these two people's names will be in a roll call that goes way, way back even from our own present. Unless you do something to really make a difference yourself, four hundred years from now you will simply be dust beneath the dirt and the name on your tombstone will be barely discernible... How's that for making it clear that it's actually not much more than historical and a matter of pride for many...

      April 20, 2011 at 5:05 am | Report abuse | Reply
      • Really!

MJ, let me clarify something for you. In four hundred years, civilization as we know it will not exist. I have an idea, instead of blogging on here, thinking that you are educating the world, try figuring out a way to reduce carbon emissions, nuclear exposure/risk, biological threats, disease, poverty, war, murder, all levels of horrific crimes, etc, etc, etc. I believe that if indeed the world were to pull itself out of the depths of hell it has managed to find itself in, then the only names that would be remembered are those of the individuals that save it, not prance around as if the world should worship them. However if this event brings a smile to your face and some value/existence to your life, then by all means DVR it and feel free to watch it over and over again. Don't criticize those that feel that there is more to life than some glorified wedding. Oh and by the way, I doubt we will be putting your name in the "history" books for any of the above mentioned challenges. We'll, at least your name will be on this CNN blog for at least another 24 hours! Good day Sir!

QUIT PUTTING EACH OTHER DOWN OVER SOMETHING THAT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!! THE TWO ARE LIKE EVERY YOUNG COUPLE THAT GET MARRIED ON EARTH. IN REALITY THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM AND ANY YOUNG COUPLE IN THE WORLD FOR THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS, ONLY HUMAN BEINGS. THEY EAT AND GO POTTY LIKE US. LOVE SURROUNDS A COUPLE TO BE MARRIED, ANY OR MOST COUPLES. MAYBE THAT'S THE PART THAT VIBRATES FROM THEIR APPEARANCE, THEY ARE YOUNG AND IN LOVE. IN THIS DAYS EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE IN THE NEED FOR LOVE. LOVE GIVES AND KEEPS ON GIVING, MOST PEOPLE JUST WANT TO TAKE!!!

Love these two! Whether anyone likes it or not, this is a historical landmark. I hope people understand the burden these two people are about to shoulder. It's not all money, fame, and power. It's also the weight of incredible responsibility. A whole people, scrutinizing their every move, rely on this couple to one day assume control. The spotlight is harsh and unforgiving. Money and power doesn't begun to assuage it's blinding stare.

I will rise early in the a.m. to watch this royal wedding, just as I did 30 years ago for William's beautiful mother and princely father. Just as theirs was, I am sure Will & Kate's affair will be magical! This is the type of wedding that every little girl dreams of...and what little boy wouldn't want to be a prince? It's magical, and that's where the beauty in it lies. Let's take a break, for one day, from worries about the economy, terrorism, etc., and share with them the joy of their historic moment.

I wish Will & Kate all the best life has 2 offer. And many happy years toghether. As for Prince William cheating– his father has been the perfect example of how to disrespect a wife. I think Will learned from that. Remember Diana was there in his life for15 years- his formative years. he knew right from wrong .

For anyone who doesn't think this event has anything to do with the economy, think again. Magazine sales, tabloids, newspapers, TV shows, TV ads, trinkets, collectible coins, and even pizzas.... it's a way to generate money from those who love the royals. And, yes it makes some people happy to have something to look forward to. Live and let live, I say.
