We kind of wish we were joking about this... But at the same time, we're glad we live in a world where GE has issued a limited edition Royal Wedding refrigerator.
The nearly six-foot American style fridge (keep in mind, most Brits have smaller fridges) features William and Kate's faces emblazoned across it. The appliance was created as a result of the popularity of a Facebook suggestion.
In an interview with Get Connected magazine, David Garden, commercial director for GE at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances in Great Britain said, "As expected, the Royal Wedding has really captured the UK’s imagination and it was no surprise that a William and Kate commemorative fridge was a popular choice."
"It certainly wipes the floor with your usual commemorative tea towels and mugs and is most definitely one of the most novel Royal Wedding products we have seen," continued Garden. "Who knows, it may appeal to die-hard fans or maybe even Prince Charles and Camilla will order one as a wedding gift for the couple."
